Check out the new LEGO® Hero Factory located at the Imagination Zone to visit the place where real heroes are built! In this next generation LEGO story, heroes are designed, equipped and built depending on specific missions that beam in from across the galaxy and across time. They are dispatched in hero pods to defeat evil and take on a variety of missions.

Now you can join the fun by building and creating your own heroes! And, don't miss the opportunity to meet and greet with LEGO Hero Factory's bravest leader, Preston Stormer (actual appearance times may vary). For more information, visit herofactory.LEGO.com

Seeds have been planted for a brand new partnership at LEGOLAND® Florida that will bring a new adventure to the park. On March 29, 2012, we'll harvest all the excitement as the all-new Fresh From Florida Greenhouse tour opens. The new attraction will showcase the who, what, where, how and why of “farm to table” agriculture along through an interactive learning experience.

Families can get nose to nose with a variety of Florida fruits and vegetables – strawberries, corn, tomatoes – and learn how they’re grown, harvested, cleaned and eventually eaten in freshly prepared meals. The Greenhouse is the result of a partnership with Fresh From Florida, an initiative of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

Partnership will spread important safety messages for kids and families

Streamers flew and smoke alarms beeped as the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) kicked off its long-term partnership with LEGOLAND® Florida to provide lifesaving information to families and kids during a press event and special fire safety day at central Florida’s newest theme park.

NFPA will sponsor the park’s fire safety - themed “The Big Test” live show at the LEGO® City Stage where these messages will be incorporated.  “The Big Test” is an acrobatic, comedy show in which a cast of characters goes through a series of hysterical antics as they try to become firefighters. There will also be special activities throughout the year that stress the importance of fire safety and acknowledge the critical work of the fire service.

“This partnership allows us to combine kids’ love of the fire service and LEGOLAND to build life-saving knowledge,” said Adrian Jones, LEGOLAND Florida general manager. “We are proud to play this important role for our community.”

“The majority of fire deaths happen in homes where there are no working smoke alarms,” said NFPA President Jim Shannon. “We are excited to join with LEGOLAND Florida to impart two extremely important messages - test your smoke alarms and have an escape plan.”

We look forward to seeing you at The Big Test soon!

A Day in the Life of Jeremy Mini-"Lin"-der: What the Knicks Star would be doing if he didn't have All-Star plans this weekend.

Those with sharp eyes might also spot a cameo appearance by one extremely tall player from the Orlando Magic.

LEGOLAND® Florida is the home of Miniland USA. A crowd favorite, Miniland USA has seven themed areas, including New York City - home to the Knicks, each recreated out of LEGO® bricks and home to hundreds of Minilanders.
